Staying at Standing Indian Shelter tonight. Short day, resting the wrist. Trail magic at Deep Gap. Ate my first hot dog in three years and it was amazing! I feel really good and am enjoying being out here. Life is beginning to develop a certain rhythm that is very relaxing. It’s good to be away from the news, tv and other distractions. I think I’m going to have to buy a new pack. After two weeks of shoulder pain, I think I need a pack with more support. I’ll check it out when I get to town. Phone is off most of the time, unless I’m in town or blogging. For those of you trying to call me, remember there is a 3 hour time difference, so if you’re calling me in the evening, I’m probably sleeping.
